Hello there

I am looking to go to Bunaken in mid-April, and have been searching online for routes from Bangkok to Manado. All I have found are quite expensive or have stopped flying there (like Air Asia via KL, no longer exists).

Appreciate any help on a good, relatively inexpensive route from BKK to Manado. I would be willing to take domestic flights, go overland some by bus, etc.

Thanks for any help

I think you end up flying via Jakarta or via the Philipines since AirAsia stopped flying directly from KL. From Jakarta you can use several airlines, with Lion Air giving you nice prices and more than one flight a day. Lion Air also flies from Singapore, so Singapore - Jakarta - Manado can be an option.
