Sharia police arrested over rape case

A serious blow to the credibility and morality of Sharia police in Aceh province, has occurred after several members were detained for an alleged gang rape in Langsa regency. Police in the regency said Tuesday they had arrested two Sharia police officers, or Wilayatul Hisbah, for reportedly raping a female detainee at the Langsa Sharia Police Station.

Nothing new....an established practice, whether common or special Indonesian police....
Hindus and Muslims have another opinion on women. A woman is less than a barnyard animal. So what can you expect???

Probably its time for the international communicity to intervene and tell Indonesia to stop barbaric institutions like "sharia police", or they are not worth being an independent country.
