The great Indonesian Nationalistic revolutionary calls a Sarung clothing for "orang Kampung". But This great Nationalist probably forgets that a sarung is a piece of National Clothing, and not apair of trousers (jeans).

I thought that you where so proud of your heritage.
If so, don't act like a snob and feel that a piece of traditional clothing is only for poor and ignorent "orang kamung".

>I hope you have a good quality sarung!. (NOT SARONG)
>Good quality sarung is CAP (Made by) "MANGGIS SALAK"
>Now here how you do it.
>Put it on (the top part is under your arm pit)
>left hand grab the left part (you are standing in midle of sarung)
>Pull left the part to the full length of your left arm stretched/straight
>You right hand elbow presses right part of sarung against your right body under armpit
>while right forearm presses top sarung against your chest, keep it firm hold with your palm, press against /under left arm pit (STAY FIRM, THIS THE KEY WHETHER YOUR SARUNG IS GOING TO BE LOOKING NICE/ MAS ALI GOING TO LOOK MORE HANDSOME OR HE IS GOING TO DROP HIS SARUNG IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC!)
>Next Your left arm (still holding the tip of left part), folding to the right in front of the right arm.
>Release RIGHT ARM SLOWLY, WHILE LEFT ARM TAKES OVER TO HOLD TOP PART OF SARUNG WHICH JUST BEEN FOLDED.
>Grab right tip(Comes from left part?)
>now your both elbows pressing top of sarung against your rib cages(Keep it tight!)

>Now the beauty part = roll part of the top part downward slowly.........
if you did the process correctly, you'll get a beautiful roll of the top sarung like a pro!
>Selamat pakai sarung!
