U.N. body says torture widespread in Indonesia
|
A UN rights body says Indonesia's police, armed forces and intelligence services routinely torture and degrade criminal suspects to extract confessions. The U.N. In its 'foreplay' of independance Indonesia, has got the opportunity to become a federalistic state , this was not 'rewarded' by the then big Western 'powers' , for this widespread policy of torture is accomplished by a certain groep in Indonesian society, with a Republican structure, so thus one is able to say that the Western countries, in the aftermath of the World war II situation bear their responsiblitities, on this policy of torture ......

When the big powers use torture, it is not a crime and if a small and weak country use torture, then its a crime and the whole world will shout especially Amnesty International. The U. N. Human Rights body is wrong in proclaiming that torture is wide spread in Indonesia, they should forcus towards the U.S. which is a Master of Torture!

If there is torture in RI then it should be adressed. Like the situation in or outside the US. No reason for any difference.
Considering the US to be masters in torture is an overstatement.
Atleast if the reference of the remark is a war situation.
In any war things happen which is rather not exposed.
That is war.

As far as I can see AnisJ,
No, there is no interest as far as the European Union is concerned in a low dollard rate. They would like to have a balance. If the dollar goes out of balance and Asia drops the dollar and has it's refference to the euro then an economic crisis is complete. What role do you wantt to give the Russians?
World power? Gas supplier? Then they should be shitting their pants. The support the receive from the US is that big even Russian ecomony is dependant on dollars, even if they want it or not.
