Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, said that the government would not raise fuel prices next year despite a 17 percent cut in fuel subsidy spending calculated in the 2008 state budget. Fuel subsidy is to be cut to 46.7 trillion Rupiah (3.68 billion euro), down from 56.4 trillion Rupiah (4.44 billion euro) this year.
