The print of the Makasar king is on the Indahnesia website. If you punch in 'Makasar King'on google you will find it easily.

Is that a Makassar king? In the 18th century? Highly unlikely, but anyway, the picture smells to me as "rijksmuseum Amsterdam"
I have to do some more research. I will come back to you

According to "Early Modern History", a volume in the series "Indonesian Heritage" (editor: Anthony Reid, published Archipelago Press 1996 (1999,2001)), where the picture is shown on page 58, the sketch dates from 1636!
