Would the return of Golkar bring back the good things of the Suharto era? Stability, economical growth, the number one in Asia? That is wat General Prabowo tells the Indonesian people on tv every hour or so...

But what about the bad things? will they ever be abolished from Indonesia?

My short opinion
The first one is possible for a big part, if people can deal with the things that Megawati has started (Aceh, Timor). The last one? No, not possible under Golkar, which is just the same party as it was a few years ago.

Well, the only way to cure the economic growth in Indonesia is to bring back vocations. This means, creating more job fields, by either boosting up the local industry or inviting more foreign investors to Indonesia.

In Soeharto's era, this issue was contradictive. Yes, the economic growth was stabile, there were enough vocations, Indonesia was a platform country in South east asia, it means many foreign investors. But how did he do that? With collusion, nepotism and 'invisible' comission, which makes him richer and richer everytime.

If General Prabowo means that the return of Golkar will bring back the 'good things' back, let me ask him, how would he plan to bring those 'good things' back? What are his visions? If he can't elucidate his points one by one, than the hell with him and his party Emoticon: Shut up!
