Having written novels about Indonesian history, I am interested in any unusual aspects. My themes so far have been Aceh, Westerling and the modern problem of T.K.I.s in Singapore. Next month I have a new one, Red Jakarta, on 1965 etc. and how things might have gone the other way.
Any other good ideas?

Some great historical fiction:

"Master and Commander" by Patrick O'brian.
"Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon.
"Chesapeake" by James Michener.
