Junias House is a small, but very beautiful Balinese house nestled in the tranqil rice fields of Ubud with a very private garden featuring ponds and lots of outdoor comfortable seating.
Owned by Aussie woman June Young it is available to rent all year round. Photos and information can be found on this website created by Canadian Patrick Perka who stayed there on my recommendation in March 2001.

Low season are 200,000rp/night + 10% taxes with breakfast included.
June has a driver who can pick you up from the airport. Price before the petrol price rise was 130,000. Best to contact June in regards to the new price.

For all viewers of the website map above I have since been alerted to the fact that the map displayed is highly inaccurate in regards to the whereabouts of Junias House and has caused problems for tourists trying to find this wonderful little Balinese accomodation.
Junias House is in fact opposite the Tjampuhan Hotel and up the stairs and the cafe Pesto is no longer near Junias House. Many apologies to everyone. Honestly I never bothered to double check Patrick's map.
Sorry if this has caused confusion for anyone.

Hi,
Junias House in Ubud has a new contact telephone no. 001162361977921
You can still call or fax on the old number, but it is better to get through to the owner June Young at the new number.
For any one interested June Young the owner is selling both two storey Junias House and the ground level house next door. She has finally decided to retire.
Contact June direct for details.
