Indonesia's Ulama Council criticised for its edicts
Indonesia's largest Muslim organisation has criticised the nation's highest Islamic authority, over its edicts or "fatwas" against liberal Islam. The Ulama Council last week issued eleven fatwas, including a ban on inter-faith marriages and joint prayers with people of other religions.
