When it comes to dancing, my mother used to say something like:

djingkla djingkla for the young ones
schuivie schuivie for the elder people

where 'schuivie-schuivie' stands for something like slow shuffling with small steps
(so they won't slip and or fall)

with 'jingkla' 'jingla' she meant some kind 'jumping around' hardly anything to do with dancing.

she passed away many years ago, but till now, I have not discovered the correct writing of
this djingkla, or djinkla, or jinglah, or djinglat, or ...

maybe someone out there knows how it should be written.

thanks!
